Third Annual Life Size Monopoly Game

06/14/2008 - 12:00pm - 06/14/2008 - 3:00pm

ANYTHING BUT A BORED GAME

Regardless of the classic Monopoly strategy employeed - some people focus solely on locking up Boardwalk and Park Place while others fiendishly grab up railroads and utilities - all the players go home winners at Empire College's larger-than-life game of real estate trading.

This is a fundraiser to benefit the Volunteer Center and United Way's youth development focus area and 2-1-1.  Local businesses sponsor the squares, donate prizes and send teams to the competition.

With each roll of the gigantic dice, team members could wind up sipping wine, getting a mini massage or being hauled off in real handcuffs to the game's jail by real, uniformed California Highway Patrol officers.

There are four ways to participate including getting a square on the board, building a team of no more than three, giving an item to the auction or coming to the event and enjoying the action.
