Day of Caring

A DAY TO GIVE BACK.  A DAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

The United Way 18th Annual Day of Caring will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008.
Over 1,000 volunteers will donate their time and energy to complete
over 80 projects for local service agencies in Sonoma and Mendocino counties.  Past projects have included delivering meals, painting, creating safer playgrounds, tutoring children and more.

A kick-off rally will be held at Finley Park in Santa Rosa for Sonoma County projects and at the Ukiah Civic Center (City Hall) in Ukiah for Mendocino County projects.  Both rallies start at 8am.
